I remember receiving the news that I would be released from Portsmouth City Jail to go to the Oaks in Greenwood, SC. I had nothing to my name and my name was just a label at that point because I had no clue who I was. Little did I know, God had this all mapped out to find my identity in Jesus at NewSpring Church. I would have never imagined the promises that he has fulfilled. He has relieved me of an obsession from drugs and alcohol, He transformed my selfishness into a life of service, He secured my insecurities through faith, and raised me from my own death. However, today represents victory over death, it verifies his teachings, and promises eternal life. Thank you Jesus and Happy Easter
